§ 초대의 말씀

한국정보통신기술협회에서는 급변하는 국제사실표준화 기구에 적극 대응하고, 국내 민간 표준화 활동을 활성화하기 위해 2000년도부터 『IT표준화 전략포럼』을 선정하여 표준화 활동을 체계적으로 지원하고 있으며, 올해에도 각 분야별 38개 전략포럼을 중심으로 사실표준화 활동이 강화되고 있습니다.

올해 여덟번째로 맞이하는 『IT FORUM KOREA 2008』 행사에서는 “IT Standardization for the New Growth Engine"를 주제로 하여 국내 포럼 상호간 긴밀한 협력과 국내외 최신 기술 및 표준화 정보를 공유하고 각 포럼에서 연구 및 수집한 정보를 토대로 심층적인 발표가 다양하게 진행될 것입니다.

바쁘시더라도 부디 이번 행사에 많이 참석하셔서 우리나라의 민간 포럼 활동이 국내 정보통신산업의 발전과 표준화 기술을 한 단계 끌어올리는 견인차 역할을 할 수 있도록 격려하여 주시기 바랍니다.
