제목	TTA taking a first step in ZigBee International Certificate Test

Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) of Korea said it awarded TTA-NTS ZigBee IEEE 802.15.2 certificate for the ZigBee module, MG2400 submitted for the test by Radio Pulse, the first time for a Korean manufacturer on 9 June. The certificate item was tested for its standard compatibility for IEEE 802.15.4, a necessary step prior to the ZigBee Platform certificate by the ZigBee Alliance. A TTA official said “By taking a full advantage of TTA-NTS ZigBee International Certificate Test for, Korean companies will now be able to save the cost and energy they spent in obtaining the international certificate and this certificate will greatly improve the quality and global competitiveness of Korean ZigBee manufacturers abroad.” Last April, TTA has signed a ZigBee International Certificate Test Cooperation agreement with the US certifier, National Technical Systems (NTS) to help local ZigBee manufacturers take, in a more convenient manner, the international certificate test of the ZigBee Alliance, a mandatory requirement for all ZigBee products. <저작권자ⓒ디지털데일리 무단전재-재배포금지>
